I was born and raised in McAlester, OK where I attended McAlester High School. Growing up I enjoyed spending summers at the lake, playing video games with friends, and competing on my school’s wrestling team.

During this time I attended college at the University of Oklahoma where I earned my Bachelor’s in Communication with a minor in Human Relations. I was also a member of the Phi Delta Theta fraternity and President’s Community Scholars for my volunteer work in the McAlester community.

My next opportunity saw me excel as a part of the Sales and Marketing team at D.R. Horton in Greensboro, NC. I was responsible for assuring homes in our communities were completed within strict deadlines while maintaining regular communicating progress to clients. In my first year with the company, I received the Rookie of the Year award for my sales record and customer satisfaction.

In 2019 my girlfriend (spoiler: now wife) and I decided to make a big change by moving to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico! We’ve always had a passion for travel and were in a position to live abroad for a while. We regularly spent time at the beach where I learned to surf, took excursions to some of our favorite waterfalls, and met a ton of lifelong friends that were traveling at the time as well.
It was during my time in Mexico that I decided to expand my skills by learning frontend web development and took on some freelance work to help start pursuing a career in one of my passions: Software and Tech.

The year most people probably wish they could forget.
This year turned out to be a blessing in disguise for me though. My wife and I moved to Greenville, SC and my hard work had paid off as I started a position as a Technical Support Specialist for WPForms and Awesome Motive.
I found my place as one of the top performing Technical Support Specialists resolving technical issues to help customer succeed with our product.

After some time as a Technical Support Specialist I was promoted to Technical Support Team Lead at WPForms. While I still got to help customers resolve technical issues, I was also responsible for analyzing my team’s performance, developing strategies for improvement, training and onboarding new team members, preventing customer churn.
Towards the end of 2023 I was moved to the Envira team in Awesome Motive as Technical Support Team Lead for four different products. My responsibilities remained the same but the ownership expanded since as the only team lead for the Technical Support Team.

This year had some big milestones! I was promoted to the Technical Support Manager for the Envira team but probably the most notable thing here was I got the biggest promotion of all to Dad 🙂

Stay tuned!
